B4 TREE CLIMBERS KIT

B4 Adventure came to the design league with a project to take the ground out of playground

The IDL was first tasked with coming up with a range of concept options for B4A’s new Tree Climbers Kit. After some review and collaborative analysis a direction was chosen. The next request for this project came to deliver some renderings for the B4A team to present to buyers at a trade show.

Quite a bit of initial interest was sparked at the show. So the next step was to prepare a Orthos for B4’s PD team to review with their manufacturer.

With feedback from testing the first prototype sample the design was slightly modified to have a bit more arch in the back, so that the Tree Climbing Base Hold will have a flush fit with the curve of a wide tree.(This design will hug the tree, not hurt it.) Concurrently, B4A was was updating the Slackers Branding Guide. A final design was delivered for the Grip Tape to match their new roll out.

FINAL DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS: Set includes 6 heavy duty strong base plates – (7” width x 6” height x 2” depth) and 4 climbing holds, with 1” webbing – 36” and adjustable ratchet system.
